Stephen is right, the yellow immediately draws the eye into the scene.
As so often seen in S. america, the houses are DIY wooden affairs knocked together in a few days, but they look homely, they have a veranda, and a garden, but no huge mortgage..! I think I'll build a hut here ;)
How do the people take being photographed here? No fear of you being a soul stealer? You would see a lot of that here in some parts of Mexico.

@Luis A. De Jesus R.: No Luis, luckely I was not a soul stealer and they neither do ask money for it, unlike the Kuna Yala indians who sometimes asked me $20 (!!!) for a photo, which I never did ofcause.
